The National Trust
The National Trust is the largest membership organisation in the United Kingdom and one of the largest UK charities by both income and assets. They have over 4 million members and 55,000 volunteers. More than 14 million people visit their pay for entry properties, while an estimated 50 million visit their open air properties. They protect and open to the public over 350 historic houses, gardens and ancient monuments. They also look after forests, woods, fens, beaches, farmland, downs, moorland, islands, archaeological remains, castles, nature reserves and villages – for ever, for everyone.
“Sirocco Systems is a breath of fresh air. Their cloud based environments have meant that we have the correct environments available, when we need them and for as long as we need them, rather than worrying if we have enough hardware available and ‘making do’. The speed by which these environments are able to be delivered is impressive and enables a flexibility we never had before.”
– Glen Yarwood, IT Operations Director, National Trust, 2013
